How to Receive and Use Your Digital Debit or Credit Card
Step 1: Block Your Current Active Card
If your debit or credit card is lost, stolen, damaged, or impacted by fraud, report it through Home Banking, the Cyprus CU mobile app, or by contacting Member Services.
Once a card is reported, it cannot be reactivated.
Step 2: Block Your Card in Home Banking
- Sign in to Home Banking.
- Go to Digital Card Controls.
- Select the affected card.
- Under Card Management, select Report Lost or Stolen.
- Follow the prompts to block the affected card.
After submitting the request, you may see a confirmation message. You can close this message.
Step 3: Watch for the Digital Card Notification
- The app may briefly reload after completing the request.
- A pop‑up message will appear to notify you that a new digital debit/credit card has been issued.
- If the message does not appear, fully close the app and reopen it.
Step 4: Add the Digital Card to Your Wallet
Once the digital card notification appears:
- Select the option to add the card to your digital wallet (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, if supported).
- Follow the wallet provider’s steps to complete the setup.
Your digital card is now available for eligible purchases.
Step 5: Wait for Your Physical Card
- Your physical debit/credit card will be mailed to the address on file.
- Physical card transactions will not work until the physical card is received and activated.
- Activation instructions will be included with the card or you can activate the card in Home Banking.
