Does Dream Rewards Checking have other features?
How do I convert to a Dream Rewards Checking account? 

To open a Dream Rewards Checking account, use this form or visit any of our branch locations.

Are there any requirements for opening an account? 

To open an account, you must be 18+ and an existing Cyprus Credit Union member. For new members, you can apply for a membership and a Dream Rewards Checking account at the same time using our online application.     

Do ATM withdrawals count toward points and also card usage?
No, ATM withdrawals will not count toward points or transactions.
Where do I see how many transactions I am at for the month?

You will receive three monthly email updates about your current account tier and transactions. You will receive three monthly email updates about your current account tier and transactions. These will be sent to you the middle of the month, a few days before the end of the month, and at the end of the month.

What if I don’t make the minimum transactions? 
If you don’t make the minimum amount of card transactions for the Dream Big tier, the $5 account fee will not be waived. $5 will be charged the fifth of each month.
How do I earn points? 

Use your Cyprus debit or credit card to make your everyday purchases—the more you use your card, the bigger the reward. Also, earn points by making on-time payments of Auto, RV, or HELOC loans and earning dividends on a certificate (traditional or dream).

How do I view/redeem points? 
You can view and redeem points at the Dream Rewards Store. Here, you can browse available rewards and redeem points for cash back, gift cards, travel, and more. 
Do my points expire? 

Points will expire 4 years from the moment they are earned if they remain unused. However, you will not lose points before their expiration date as long as your account is in good standing. You will only lose points if you close your entire checking relationship with Cyprus.

Can I combine points with other household members?

You can use the “Gift Points” feature inside the Dream Rewards store under the “Account” tab to immediately transfer points between other Rewards account members or between your own multiple rewards accounts.

Do I need to set up a separate login for my debit card and credit card in the Dream Rewards store?
Points will show based on the account number. If the Dream Rewards Checking and Rewards Visa accounts are under the same account number, they will use the same login. 
Can my loan rate increase if I don’t make the minimum transactions?
To keep the rate discount, you must make 20 or more monthly debit/credit card transactions. If you fall below this minimum transaction threshold, you will lose the rate discount the first of the month.

Members will earn points on a monthly basis for participating in defined account products, services, or account activities. Examples of eligible products, services, or account activities include: i. Use of a Cyprus debit or credit card for a defined number of transactions. ii. Making on-time payments to eligible loans on the account. iii. Earning dividends on eligible certificates on the account. These eligible products and account activities are subject to change at any time without notice. 

Dream Rewards Checking rewards points may be combined with rewards points earned from a Cyprus Rewards Visa credit card. 

1 Loan Rate Discount  
0.50% APR loan rate discount valid on new Dream Auto or RV loans only. All loans subject to credit approval. Loan rates based on loan terms and creditworthiness of borrower. 

2 Dream Certificate 
Early withdrawal penalties may apply. Minimum balance of $20.00 required for Dream Certificates. Requires minimum monthly deposit of $10.00. Dividends are declared, paid, and compounded monthly. Combined $100,000 maximum deposit per primary member on Dream Certificates. 

3 Dream Round Up Savings 
Learn & Earn Checking or Dream Checking account required to open. No minimum balance required. Dividends earned on balances $0.01 and higher. Dividends are declared, paid, and compounded monthly. Account matures on October 31 and funds will be transferred from Round Up Savings to Dream Checking account.
